Excellent product that's a bit of a struggle to put together

I gave this potting table a 5-star rating because the product is well designed and well made. Additionally, the company got the table to me on time and in good shape.

It does take quite a bit of work to put the table together. I could never have done the work without an electric drill to screw in all of the many many screws and sometimes to create a hole for a screw when a piece of wood could not be pre-drilled by the manufacturer. The work took me several hours spread over 3 days. Probably it would have been better to have another person helping but I did manage to do the task by myself. Putting the table together takes considerably more effort and strength than putting together most computer desk kits that I've done before.

BUT the result is worth the effort. The table looks great and is easy to work with for potting plants and doing general garden work.

I'm pleased that I paid the extra to have western red cedar both because it looks so nice and because I just did not want to get into having to keep an outdoor table painted/stained. Also, the cedar smells really nice!

I'm glad that I got the Argee RG155 Table-Top Gardener Portable Potting Tray that another reviewer recommended. It has been very helpful as a way to keep control over potting soil and to do a neat-ish job of putting soil into pots.

Good quality fit and finish

There are so many potting benches on the market that it's difficult to determine which is the best buy. This bench, while certainly not inexpensive, is constructed of good quality cedar (no knots) and goes together well. Per the All Things Cedar website's recommendation, we applied a coat of Sikkens Cetol Natural that really made it look nice. Looking forward to many many years of use of this well-made potting table.

Perfect potting bench

It is lovely wood, went together like a dream, perfect height and width, and is exactly what I wanted. Perfect.

Good value

This stand is holding together well. It is turning gray as cedar does but we like it. It is sturdy and has a nice shelf underneath for storage.

Assembly

Not for the weak. Assembly with a hand held Phillips screw driver was a nightmare. Took hours to screw the parts together. Hours! Product is good but hand assembly is beyond difficult. I could never recommend this product to anyone who does not have power tools to use. Never!!! A second person to help hold parts together would also be helpful.
