I initially thought I had ordered the swing in four pieces. This was based on a description on the OEM website. It actually comes as a kit of finish cut wood pieces. The hardware and chains were complete, although I used my chains from another swing because mine were stronger. Assembly was easy and directions were mostly clear. Just a little guesswork at two points. Holes were drilled properly. I took a palm sander to the rough ends on the seat back and arm rests. The only adjustment I had to make was in the spacing of the boards for the seat back. If you follow their directions it ends up being too wide. The only thing I wished I had done differently is sanded and sealed all the boards before assembly. In fact, I would have gladly paid $20 more if the boards had come sealed.
